The Dreamer Kisses the Townhouse Goodbye!

Kiss it goodbye, Smalls. (Sandlot). Sad times, now, I fight for my binder back. I tried to explain to Pulte that it is impossible for someone to close on a townhouse when the big house refuses to sell. They dont agree. They think because I have great credit they should finance me the whole amount and ignore the fact that my other house payment is barely met. LOVE IT. So, friends. Kiss the townhouse goodbye. Funny how life changes sometimes. I know that everything will work out like it should. It always does. Chin up!

The Dreamer's Ode to Mr. Wonderful

We all have the Uncle. You know, the uncle who isnt really related but still is referred to as "Uncle ____." Mine, is Uncle Dave. Also known as Mr. Wonderful. Also known as Super Dave. He's the Uncle no one ever knew they wanted, but you just cant get enough of him. He's the guy that asks you to pull his finger when you see him and makes off color remarks about everything. He's great. So, thought I would highlight Uncle Dave today. It is almost like one of those Bud Light's Real Men of Genius. Here's to you Mr. Not Really My Uncle Pull My Finger Guy.

The Dreamer's Special 2 Part Issue!!!

PICTURES TO COME!!! I CANT GET THEM TO POST, I WILL HAVE THEM UP ASAP!!!

WHAT A GREAT START TO A GREAT WEEK!! Why is it a good week? I have chosen to make it that way. There are 2 matters of business to take care of today. First, and only because it happened yesterday...my goddaughter arrived! Katie Lillian Harper was born last night! I helped push, literally. I had my hands working to push Jenn's back and she popped my Katie out quicker than I have EVER seen on The Baby Story. I thought I was possibly going to be passing out, but you know, it was just a miracle. People always say "The Miracle of Childbirth" but I now know why. It was fantastic and I was so thankful to be a part of the event. I took the photos and am posting some in color and some in black and white. Also, I have never seen a newborn I think is pretty right off the bat...and I may be biased, but hey! the kid is cute! So, she's named after me and I will be going to New York to be at the baptism because I am the god mamma! (Jenn wants me to become catholic, but I dont want to.) Thomas, her brother, was so happy to meet his little sister and I am still grinning thinking of our new girl. SO, HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIE!

The second order of business...the founder of my blog is having his 32nd anniversary of his birth today. HAPPPPPPY BIRTHDAY JOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could be there to see you. Instead. I decided to write a little poem, straight from my heart in honor of your big day. And it goes a little something like this.

July 17th is my friend's birthday.
It sucks that he lives so far away.
Our time has been sweet and short
but with the miles, it's our only resort.

So, today we celebrate his life
if i were a musician Id play a fife:)
He's older and whiter and taller than me
But, at his age, why wouldnt he be!?

Cheers to You Ole Josh of the Cheese,
A Poem so Silly written by meeeze:)
My smiles and prayers and wishes are yours
A great present would be a case of Coors.

Though Miles are many, my thoughts are not few,
I think many thoughts and smiles of you,
so enjoy your big day and live it with joy
And always remember, "Josh, You're My Boy!"

The End. WOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

The Dreamer's 4th of July Weekend

I forgot to post my 4th of July Weekend Pics. Chris and I met his family down in Palm Coast for the weekend, we stayed at Hammock Beach...a place that was, to say the least, fantastic. It was the life, sitting by the pool/in the pool drinking cocktails, listening to the ocean, a golf course right next door. Ahhhh. I pretended I could afford it:). So. Here are some pics from the weekend event. Good times. Good way to get my mind of the bleek reality of right now.
